Hackathon 2019 – Register Now!

The Digital Solutions annual Hackathon involves participating in over 30 hours of outstanding creativity and collaboration to transform your awesome ideas into reality! You don’t need to be a coder or tech savvy to take part in the Hackathon. All you need to bring to the table is your creativity, experience and passion to work together with a bunch of cool people to create something new and amazing! Registrations for Hackathon are open now!

During the Hackathon, students work in teams to build an app that would greatly improve student life.

It takes all skills to develop an app: project management to guide the team, graphic design for the User Interface, comms, marketing, advertising or PR to present and persuade the judges, and of course, coding and app development skills too. If you think you’ve got a bit of creative genius in your grey matter, then sign up now!

Students can register as an individual, a pair or a group of three or four students. If registering as an individual, we will allocate you into a team after registration is complete based on your area of expertise.

Once your registration is complete, we will be in touch with all the information you will need about your team, the Hackathon challenges, API’s and more. Just bring along your passion, your skill and your devices. We’ll keep you hydrated and nourished through the entire 30+ hours.

At the end of the Hackathon weekend, each team will showcase their app to our judges with a chance to win some huge prize money! The Hackathon will be held on the weekend of 3 – 4 August 2019 inside the Nathan campus Library.
